Berdien Hamstra, the creative force behind Lille i Nord, has always had a passion for working with her hands. From painting and sewing to knitting and drawing, her artistic journey has been anything but ordinary. After exploring various career paths, she found her true calling in punch needling—an art form she describes as “coloring with wool.”
What started as a DIY experiment quickly turned into a creative business, with her playful and textured designs capturing hearts on Instagram and beyond. Now, Lille i Nord has grown from whimsical children’s decor to unique interior pieces, all crafted with care and a love for slow, intentional making.
