Stocking Stitch
Stockinette stitch, often referred to as stocking stitch, is one of the most basic and commonly used stitch patterns in knitting.
It creates a smooth fabric with rows of knit stitches on one side ("right" side) and rows of purl stitches on the other side ("wrong" side).
