Podcast.
It started as background noise and became the whole point.
There is a particular kind of focus that happens when your hands are occupied and your ears are free. The project moves. The episode plays. An hour disappears. You look down and realize you've finished three inches and learned something you didn't expect.
The right podcast changes the whole session. Interview shows that go deep. Slow conversations about making, design, creativity, obsession. The ones where you forget you're alone in the room.
We've been thinking about what the perfect podcast for a maker actually looks like. Long enough to last a sleeve. Curious enough to make you think. Warm enough to feel like company. Something that understands that the person listening has good taste, good yarn, and about forty minutes before the next row demands full attention.
We don't have the definitive answer yet. But we think you might.
What are you listening to while you make? What would you want to hear that doesn't exist yet? Tell us.
